A huge museum full of modern art such as Picasso's Guernica and works by Salvador Dalí. They have free entrance after 7 PM which leaves you about two hours to see the museum - it's enough if you only want to see the main masterpieces. click for more info!
Prado
Luultavasti Madridin maineikkain museo, joka on täynnä perinteistä taidetta. Muun muassa El Grecon, Francisco de Goyan ja Velázquezin töitä löytyy täältä melkoinen määrä. lisää tietoa täältä!

Taiteen ystävien kannattaa hankkia yhteinen lippu noille kolmelle museolle (Paseo del arte) joka sisältää sisäänpääsyn museoihin vuoden ajaksi. All you art lovers should probably get a joint ticket called Paseo del Arte, which allows you to visit all the three museums in any order you want. And the best thing is, it's valid for up to one year! Jos nyt pitäisi itse valita lemppari, niin kyllä se tuo Reina Sofía olisi. Siellä taide on omaan silmään mielenkiintoisinta ja museohuoneet ovat järjestetty vähän selkeämmin. Noita pieniä museoita en ole kaikkia käynyt läpi, mutta Museo ABC on siitä mielenkiintoinen, että he järjestävät myös taidetyöpajoja ja siellä on rentoutumistila, jossa voi lukea kirjoja ja piirtää.
If I had to choose a favourite, it would clearly be Reina Sofía. In my opinion, their art is the most interesting out of these three and their exhibition rooms are also organized a bit better. I have to confess that I haven't visited all the small museums I'm recommending for you, but Museo ABC was really interesting. Apart from being an art gallery, they organize all sorts of art workshops and there's a relaxation area where you can read or draw.
