Käytiin Stockholm Street Festivaleilla pikaisesti tsekkaamassa, mikä meininki siellä on. Australialainen koomikko/taikuri/whateva piti viihdyttävää showta pystyssä ja otti yleisön mukaan siihen samalla. Tyyliin kun joku randomtyyppi käveli lavan ohi, hän meni kysymään kenen kanssa tämä puhuu puhelimessa ja alkoi itse puhumaan siihen:-D Musta on hullua, miten joku pystyy olemaan niin sanavalmis ja keksimään naurattamisen aihetta noin vain tarkkailemalla ympäristöä!
We wanted to see what the Stockholm Street Festival had to offer us. An Australian comedian/magician/whatever entertained the audience by making them part of the show! Like, there was a guy who was talking on the phone and passing by the stage when the artist suddenly decided to ask who he was talking to and took his phone and started talking on the phone himself :-D I think it's crazy how someone can be so quick-witted and come up with funny things just by observing the surroundings! It was funnier than it sounds, honestly.
Nää suklaaunelmat oli tarjouksessa lähikaupassa vain 19 kruunua! Enhän mä niitä sinne voinut jättää. Siitä on ihan liian kauan, kun oon saanut syödä noita. Ärsyttää muuten pirusti, että tuo Hemköp on remontissa. Jostain syystä oon kääntynyt sen kaupan puoleen ja nyt kaikki tuotteet on siellä ihan sikin sokin miten sattuu:D
This chocolate dream was on sale for only 19 crowns in our convenience store! You couldn't just leave them in the shop because it's been way too long since I last ate these dreamy chocolates. By the way, I've been really frustrated with Hemköp being under renovation. For some particular reason, I've been using that shop and now that all the products are at sixes and sevens it's not funny at all:D
Vietettiin taas yhteinen sunnuntai-illallinen aurikoisissa merkeissä. Grillattiin porsasta, kanaa, maissia ja kesäkurpitsaa ja nautittiin siinä sivussa perunasalaattia ja normisalaattia. Jälkkärinä odotti jätskin pala ja hillitön määrä pipari-suklaakeksejä. Kiitos vaan, vuokraisäntä! Olihan meitä melkein kaikki kämppikset, muutama ystävä ja muutamat mormonit yhdessä syömässä ja ruokapöydässä kuului sekaisin suomea, ruotsia ja englantia.
We had our Sunday's common meal (how religious, hehe) with lots of sunshine. We grilled pork, chicken, corn, zucchini and enjoyed a bit of salad and potato salad. For dessert, we had some ice-cream and a load of biscuits. Thank you, landlord! There was actually a huge bunch of us sitting at the table: us room mates, a few friends and some Mormons. About 20 people altogether and Swedish, Finnish and English all being mixed up.
Nauratti tää meidän kämppisten vaatevalinta. Miten niin jotkut tykkää mustasta, valkoisesta ja vaaleanpunaisesta? Täällä nousee pari kättä! Ainiin, Södermalmilla haluan kyllä ehdottomasti kierrellä vielä enemmän; se on aivan ihana alue!Our clothing choise put a smile on my face. How come we're into black, white and baby pink? Oh and I really want to explore Södermalm even more; it's such a lovely area!
Huomasin just, että puolet näistä kuvista on jotain ruokakuvia. Way to go, Rosa... Kyllä mä täällä syön muutakin kuin herkkuja. Ei hätää, perhe! Jätskit nautittiin Gamla Stanin yhdessä pikkupaikassa, josta taidan kertoa enemmän tulevassa kahvilapostauksessa.
I just realised that half of these photos have something to do with eating. Way to go, Rosa... I do eat other stuff besides the junk food so no worries, family! These ice-creams were bought in a small place in Gamla Stan. I'll be telling a bit more about it later in a café post.
Helteet jäivät haaveeksi ja tilalle tuli sadetta ja harmaata ilmaa. Käytiin vapaapäivänä kämppikseni Eevan kanssa Vasamuseossa, kun vettä tuli taivaalta litratolkulla. Jonoa oli kiitettävästi, mutta se meni onneksi kohtuullisen nopeasti ohi. En tajunnut, että siellä olisi niin täyttä! Muut museot ovat olleet maanantaisin melko tyhjiä. Tästä tulossa myös vähän lisää kuvia myöhemmin!
Summer's gone and it's back to rain and grey business again. We used our day off work in the Vasa museum with my roomie Eeva because it was raining cats and dogs and we really didn't want to stay home. There was a massive queue but luckily it was gone in no time. I couldn't imagine that I would be so full of people on a Monday morning! Other museums have been quite quiet on Mondays. Anyway, I'll do a separate post about this museum in a while.
